7.2 Privacy Limitations & Threat Model

While Privacyx significantly improves privacy posture, important limitations exist:

• On-chain mixers mitigate transaction traceability, not all forms of surveillance,

• Network-level adversaries (ISPs, surveillance providers) can correlate timing and IP addresses,

• Users who reuse addresses, link on-chain identities with off-chain accounts, or leak screenshots can undermine their own anonymity.

Privacyx is a toolkit, not a magic shield. Privacyx Guardian, PXP standards, and AI analysis aim to quantify and reduce risk, but risk cannot be reduced to zero.
